Cannabis haul seized in Co Down

Drugs with a potential street value of £1 million were today seized by the PSNI today.

Drugs with a potential street value of £1 million were today seized by the PSNI today.

The haul of cannabis plants were uncovered by police at premises on the Dundrum Road, Dromara, Co Down.

The discovery was made during a planned search of farm out-buildings by the PSNI drugs squad. The search operation began this morning at around 8.30am.

No arrests have been made, but police said the investigation is ongoing.
