Three anti drug campaigners from the Klllinarden area of Tallaght, Co Dublin, who are charged with assault, were remanded in custody Yesterday for one week at Rathfarnham District Court.
Mr Cecil Johnston (40), of Donamore Crescent; Mr Michael Warner (40), of Knockmore Park; and Mr Denis Brunt (43), of Donamore Park, are charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding a man with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him at Donamore Avenue, Tallaght, on October 8th.
The court heard that an application for bail for the three had been adjourned in the High Court, Dublin, yesterday until today. Judge Sean Delap remanded the men in custody to Rathfarnham until November 18th.
