More than a million people passed through Dublin Airport last month, the second time on record, according to Aer Rianta. The throughput of 1,092,903 people represents a 14 per cent rise on the previous year.
Traffic to and from the UK was up 16 per cent, transatlantic air traffic was up by 33 per cent and there was an increase in passengers to European destinations of 9 per cent.
