WASHINGTON - The anonymous angel" who donated $15 million to flood victims in America's Mid-West has been revealed as the McDonald's hamburger heiress, Ms Joan Kroc, writes Joe Carroll.
The thousands of householders in Grand Forks, North Dakota, whose homes were flooded by the Red River last month were the objects of the unknown benefactor, who asked that each family should be given a cheque for 52,000.
