London - A 22-year-old American was killed yesterday when he hit the ground during a bungee jump from a cable car, police said. It was unclear what went wrong.
The excursion was operated by Adventure World, which conducted a "canyoning" expedition in the same region of central Switzerland last summer in which 21 people were killed in a flash flood.
