Searches of farmland south of Dundalk are to continue today after bullets and shotgun cartridges in plastic barrels were found in ditches in Cocklehill, near the seaside town of Blackrock. The plastic barrels are similar to a type used in recent years by the IRA to store ammunition and firearms in the Louth/Meath area. No arrests were made.
