A Bulgarian solider died of his wounds after a car bomb exploded near his military convoy in the southern Iraqi city of Kerbala.
A military source told Reuters: "He died while being transported from the hospital in
Kerbala to Baghdad," said the source, who wished not to be named. Another soldier was also seriously wounded in the attack.
