Several buildings were extensively damaged in a fire on the main street of Bunclody, Co Wexford early today.
The fire broke out in one of the premises at around 6 a.m. and spread quickly to the adjoining buildings.
Gardaí say the fire appears to have spread at the rear of five buildings, most of which were commercial premises.
No-one was injured in the incident, although it is believed gardaí evacuated a number of people from the premises.
Eight tenders were called to the scene from Bunclody, Enniscorthy and Wexford.
The Garda Technical Bureau are investigating the cause of the blaze.
