Sixteen shops run by tour operator Budget Travel are to close in the coming days with the loss of 75 jobs.
The company recently announced it would close about half of its shops around the State. The affected branches are five shops in Dublin (Finglas, Liffey Street, Swords, Walkinstown and Northside Shopping Centre), two in Cork, two in Limerick, Athlone, Clonmel, Dundalk, Ennis, Mullingar, Tralee and Waterford .
Customers with bookings will not be affected.
