THE Blood Transfusion Service Board (BTSB) has not finalised its plans for a location for a new office, according to a spokesman. A report in yesterday's Irish Medical News said the board was planning to move its Dublin headquarters from Pelican House, Dublin, to St James's Hospital.
It is understood that the board may be considering separating its donor collection and laboratories into two sites. Both functions are currently carried out at Pelican House.
