London - A male sergeant major who has decided to change into a woman is to become the first transsexual to serve in the British army, it was reported today by the Express. Sgt-Maj Joe Rushton (37), who served in the UN peacekeeping force in Bosnia, is to change his name to Joanne and undergo a sex change.
