London - The British Prime Minister, Mr Tony Blair, paid tribute yesterday to a British couple who have become the first husband and wife team to walk to the South Pole together. Mike and Fiona Thornewill were part of a nine-strong team which completed the walk at 9.45 p.m on Tuesday.
