British construction growth slowed to its weakest rate in seven months in December, a survey showed today.

British construction growth slowed to its weakest rate in seven months in December, a survey showed today.

The Chartered Institute for Purchasing and Supply said its seasonally adjusted index for construction eased to 52.6 in December from 54.2 reported for November. That was the lowest level in seven months, but still above the 50 level that divides expansion from contraction.
