Bray Head cliff walk reopened

A five-mile cliff walk between Bray and Greystones, Co Wicklow, has been reopened by Wicklow County Council

A five-mile cliff walk between Bray and Greystones, Co Wicklow, has been reopened by Wicklow County Council. The walk, which follows the railway line around Bray Head and from which stunning sea views are obtainable, is a noted route for bird-watchers and ramblers.

It was closed in recent years for safety reasons after part of the route north of Greystones collapsed into the sea. Wicklow County Council announced yesterday that new lands for the route had been acquired from local landowners and the walk had been reopened.
