A 14-YEAR-OLD boy robbed and attacked an elderly woman after his parents cut off his pocket money, a court heard yesterday.
The boy, who cannot be named, pleaded guilty to attacking retired nurse Anna McDaid in Letterkenny, Co Donegal, in August last year. Ms McDaid, who is in her late 60s, suffered a broken arm, a dislocated shoulder and was knocked unconscious while on her way to the post office at 5pm.
Judge Paul Kelly ordered the boy to appear before him again on June 13th.
