RUC forensic officers in Derry were yesterday examining the contents of a number of aerosol cans found in an alleyway beside an unconscious 15-year-old boy who died later in hospital.

Martin Connolly, of Woodbrooke, Derry, died on Sunday night without regaining consciousness. He was found lying in an alley behind shops at Beechwood Avenue in the Creggan area of the city by a passerby on Sunday evening. He was rushed to Altnagelvin Hospital where he died soon after he was admitted.
