A 16-year-old boy charged with dangerous driving causing the death of two teenage Co Clare girls last October has absconded while on bail, Ennis District Court heard yesterday.

The boy was charged last month with dangerous driving, causing the death of Ms Stacey Haugh (16) and Ms Lorna O'Mahony (13) at Moyarta, Carrigaholt, on October 17th last. He is also charged with driving without insurance and a licence on the same date.
