A nine year old boy was taken to hospital on Saturday after being doused with petrol and set alight by two teenagers in Belfast. The attackers, aged between 13 and 14, walked up to the boy in the Shankill area and sprayed him with petrol. The boy's friend, also nine, managed to put out the flames.

A spokesman at the Royal Victoria Hospital said his condition was not life threatening.
