An eight-year-old boy has died in hospital after a road crash in Donegal on Friday, gardaí said today.
The child was struck by van and seriously injured on Milltown Road in Convoy. However, he lost his fight for life last night.
The driver of the van was uninjured.
An investigation is under way into the fatal crash.
