A five year old boy was killed in an accident at Old Clondalkin Road in Dublin yesterday evening. Darren Lang, of Foxdene Avenue, Clondalkin, was on the crossbar of a bicycle being ridden by another boy when the wheel of a lorry came into contact with the bicycle. He died later in Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin.
According to gardai, no one else was injured.
