A 15-year-old has been arrested by gardai in Galway in connection with a crash outside the city in which a man in his late teens died.
Shane Herron, with an address at Headford, died when the car he was travelling hit a wall near Coolough.
The 15-year-old has been treated for a number of injuries. He is being detained under Section Four of Criminal Justice Act.
