Bord Failte has the best tourism Internet site, according to the judges at the ENTER 97 tourism and technology conference in Edinburgh. The site beat tourist boards, holiday destinations, resorts and tourism services from around the world.
Bord Failte's international marketing director, Mr Noel Toolan, said: "This Internet site is a vital communications channel for Bord Failte in the development of Tourism Brand Ireland around the world, and it is a major achievement for our industry to be able to boast that it has the world's best tourism Internet site at its disposal."
