The IrIsh food board yesterday announced details of its, Innovation and New Product Development Programme for food and drink companies which is aimed at encouraging product innovation at company level.
Mr Muiris Kennedy, senior director of An Bord Bia, said that encouraging product innovation was a key tenet of the board's strategy for development of the industry.
