Kampala - Bombs planted on three buses by suspected rebels killed at least 28 people in Uganda yesterday, police said.
Most of the casualties occurred 50 km from the town of Mbarara, when an explosion blew a bus out of control and into a minibus. Another bomb went off in a bus 100 km from Kampala, killing one person and injuring six.
