BoI appoints Paddy Power chief as director

Bank of Ireland has appointed Paddy Power chief executive Patrick Kennedy a non-executive director.

Bank of Ireland has appointed Paddy Power chief executive Patrick Kennedy a non-executive director.

Mr Kennedy was co-opted by the bank on July 6th.

Mr Kennedy was a non-executive director of Paddy Power before taking up his role as chief executive in 2006. Prior to that, he was chief financial officer of Greencore and also worked with KPMG Corporate Finance both in Ireland and the Netherlands.

He is also a non-executive director of Elan.
