Soccer player Mr David Williamson was permitted by the High Court yesterday to line out for Bohemians FC for last night's clash with Drogheda United.

The club is in dispute with the Football Association of Ireland National League (the Eircom League) over Bohemians' entitlement to register Mr Williamson.

However, Mr Justice Carney warned the club's officers they would be playing Mr Williamson at their own risk and said that if he played it could have "appalling consequences for the football world".
