CAPE TOWN - The South African anti apartheid activist, the Rev Dr Allan Boesak, appeared in court yesterday on 30 charges of theft and fraud involving more than £141,440 of aid money and said afterwards he was innocent.

His trial was postponed until August 4th to give his lawyers more time.
