The body of man has been recovered from the sea at Seapoint in Blackrock, Co Dublin.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene this afternoon after the alarm was raised by a member of the public who spotted the man in difficulties.
His body has now been removed at the scene.
The Blue Flag beach at Seapoint is a popular swimming venue.
