The body of a young Cork man was recovered from the river Lee early this morning after a car drove into the river at Horgan's Quay. Naval divers from Haulbowline recovered the body from the water at 1.20 a.m.A youth in his mid-teens, who was travelling in the car was recovering in hospital last night and was said to be out of danger.The car in which the man and youth had been travelling was reported stolen shortly after the incident. The dead man is believed to have been in his early 20s.
