The body of a 46-year-old man was taken from the Boyne river in Drogheda in the early hours of Wednesday morning

The body of a 46-year-old man was taken from the Boyne river in Drogheda in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Mr Terry Connors, Patrick Street, Drogheda, was seen falling into the river from St Mary's Bridge just after midnight. Gardai and Drogheda River Rescue were alerted. A search of the river near the North Quay recovered the body a short time later.
