A WOMAN’S body has been found in Scotland, about 40 miles away from where Co Antrim woman Karen Coyles went missing on September 11th.

No formal identification had yet been made and Strathclyde police would not say last night if the woman’s family had been contacted. A police spokeswoman said inquires were ongoing to establish the identity of the victim and a postmortem examination will be carried out in due course.

Ms Coyles, from Ballycastle, has been missing since September 11th, after captaining the winning McQuillan camogie team in an All-Ireland tournament that weekend.
