Body of missing man recovered in Clare

The body of a 23-year-old who had been missing since December last year has been recovered from a canal in Co Clare.

The body of a 23-year-old who had been missing since December last year has been recovered from a canal in Co Clare.

The body of James Burke was discovered by a passer-by in water in Killaloe at around 9.30am yesterday morning and recovered by local river rescue unit.

A post-mortem was carried out at Limerick Regional Hospital. A garda spokesman said foul play is not suspected.

Mr Burke was reported missing on December 8 th, 2007.
