The body of an 88-year-old man missing from a Wexford Hospital since yesterday evening was discovered this afternoon.
Mr John Burns was discovered on a building site at 2.45 p.m. by Gardai in the town following an extensive search after he left the premises of Gorey District Hospital.
Gardai said there were no signs of injury on the man’s body. A postmortem will be carried out later today.
