A postmortem is due to be held today on the body of a man has been discovered near a beach at Ballinskelligs, Co Kerry.

A postmortem is due to be held today on the body of a man has been discovered near a beach at Ballinskelligs, Co Kerry.

The body, believed to be a 56-year-old local man who has been missing for over a week, was found in marshy ground yesterday afternoon.

Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster is carrying out the postmortem at Kerry General Hospital this morning.
