Board elects first chairwoman

The Southern Health Board has elected its first chairwoman, Dr Catherine Molloy.

The Southern Health Board has elected its first chairwoman, Dr Catherine Molloy.

A native of Connemara, Dr Molloy has been living in Cork for 18 years, where she is a senior partner in a two-doctor general practice. She is married to Mr Mick Molloy, a consultant rheumatologist at Cork University Hospital.
