Wellington - About 120 New Zealanders may have been given a blood product derived from a plasma pool whose donors included a Briton who later died from a variant of the rare Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), health officials said yesterday. The Ministry of Health chief medical officer disclosed the figure and said the blood product was being recalled as a precautionary measure.
