WARSAW - A bomb exploded yesterday at a gathering of Polish veterans marking the anniversary of the end of the second World War, killing a 72-year-old man.

The device went off under a table at which 50 ex-combatants were seated in the town of Rudna Gwizdanow. The motivation for the blast is not known.
