An investigation is being carried out following an explosion in a tank at the Saehan Media videotape factory at Hazelwood, Sligo, yesterday morning.
No one was injured in the explosion at the South Korean-owned plant, which employs about 500 people. It is thought the explosion in the solvent recovery area adjacent to the main factory was caused by overheating in the tank.
