Berlin - A survey of German business and political leaders named the British Prime Minister, Mr Blair, as the most important politician in Europe, the German magazine Capital said yesterday.
The survey of 600 members of Germany's political and business elite found that 93 per cent of those polled agreed with the statement that Mr Blair was the most important leader. Seventy-nine per cent agreed that the German Chancellor, Mr Gerhard Schroder, was Europe's second most important leader.
