The Bishop of Clogher, Dr Joseph Duffy, said yesterday the drastic fall in vocations to the priesthood posed a serious question about the future of the Catholic Church in Ireland. In an address to the Monaghan Association in London, he said that with only 18 clerics had entered Maynooth this year.
