Osama bin Laden has said in a video broadcast on the Internet that President George W. Bush had dragged the United States into a quagmire in Iraq and warned of retaliation for Iraqi deaths.
The statement came in the full Internet broadcast of an edited video that was broadcast last Friday by Arab television station Al Jazeera.
The complete 18-minute tape was posted on websites often used by Islamists today.
Al Jazeera aired excerpts last week in which bin Laden warned of possible new September 11th-style attacks.
It did not screen bin Laden's remarks on Iraq.
