Biggs facing court decision

Brasilia - The fate of the "great train robber" Ronnie Biggs could be settled today when Brazil's supreme court is expected to rule on Britain's request for his extradition, a spokesman for the court said yesterday. "The judge in charge of the case has told me that he plans to take his verdict to the floor of the court tomorrow," said Mr Alberto Coura, a spokesman for the Supreme Federal Tribunal (STF) in Brasilia.
