KARACHI - Murtaza Bhutto (41), the estranged brother of Pakistan Prime Minister Ms Benazir Bhutto died in hospital after receiving injuries in a gun battle with police yesterday, relatives and officials said.
Two police officers and one passerby were among four others injured in the shoot out outside Murtaza's seaside residence in the Clifton neighbourhood. The gun battle, in which six of Murtaza's supporters also died, lasted several minutes.
