Belgium recalls Dutroux victims

Sars-Labuissiere - Belgium yesterday remembered with a special Mass here the tragic deaths of two eight-year-old girls whose bodies were discovered a year ago in the home of paedophile Marc Dutroux. The discovery of the two girls' corpses in a basement on August 17th, 1996 sparked a nationwide crisis and widespread anger over police bungling amid allegations of a high level cover-up. - (AFP)
