Police in Belfast are investigating a serious assault which left a man, unconsciousness and with a fractured knee and other injuries.
The 32-year-old was assaulted on Gortfin Street in the Springfield Road area of the city shortly before 7am on Saturday.
The man was knocked unconsciousness during the assault and is being treated in hospital.
