Two Belfast men have been remanded in custody on charges, relating to the seizure in Newry, on Tuesday of drugs with a street value of £100,000.

Mr Simon Edward Kiely (24), of Carmel Street, and Mr Brendan Ferguson (31) of Wellington Par ere charged at a court in Banbridge yesterday with the possession, supply and importation of cannabis.

They are to appear again at Lisburn court on May 15th.
