Belfast man on murder charge

A man was charged last night with the murder of a 53-year-old man whose body was found in a flat in east Belfast on Thursday

A man was charged last night with the murder of a 53-year-old man whose body was found in a flat in east Belfast on Thursday. The accused, a 26-year-old Belfast man, is due to appear before the city's Magistrate's Court today.

He has been charged with the murder of Desmond Christopher Moonan, whose body was found in his flat at Newtownards Road in Belfast. Mr Moonan was originally from Armagh.
