Warsaw - A honey-hungry bear has attacked an 18th-century wooden church for the second time in a bid to get to the sticky comb lining its dome, a local priest said yesterday.

Father Henryk Dobosz said the bear "left claw-marks on the door and on the side wall of the sacristy" of the Smolniki church in the remote Bieszczady mountains of southeast Poland.
