Legendary British broadcaster Alistair Cooke (95)  has died in the past 24 hours, the BBC announced today.

Legendary British broadcaster Alistair Cooke (95)  has died in the past 24 hours, the BBC announced today.

Mr Cooke retired from the BBC in March after 58 years of broadcasting. He was famous throughout the world for his weekly Letter from Americashow broadcast on the BBC World Service.
