Battle of the handbags

Strictly Handbag celebrates six years on the dance floor with a big bash next Monday night, marking the 300th outing for the grand old lady of clubland. For long-time Handbag fans, this event at Ri Ra nightclub in Dame Court, Dublin, will feature lots more "music with words for your dancing pleasure", courtesy of the cuddly Aidan Kelly and the divine Dandelion. At 1 a.m., it's pocketbooks at 10 paces, as punters battle it out to see who has the cutest handbag. Glamour girly Miss Panti Bliss will be the judge, and the prize is a fab voucher from Karen Millen. There's also Ben & Jerry's ice-cream, a Tiger Beer promotion, lucky bags, cake, pop and plenty of surprises. Doors open at 11.30 p.m., admission is a fiver, and don't forget your handbag.
